Technical Sales Engineer

Your Markets & Customers:

• Prospects from leading research fields like genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, stems cells etc. with already estabilished or future need for MP based solutions.
• Top-research labs and core centres (e.g. genomics, proteomics)
• In-vitro diagnostic (IVD) companies and IVD assay service providers
• Clinical and service laboratories
• Lab automization and liquid handling solution providers

Your Task:

• Technical support for clients and sales team
• Support of projects for the development of client specific, customized MP solutions projects and sales processes in the above areas
• Manage these projects throughout their lifecycle incl. all internal and external communication
• Have a thorough understanding of the Top-research labs and core facilities incl. market drivers, trends, constraints
• Manage application and development support towards customers; manage technical support requests and issues
• Identify new application areas and translate customer/market requirements into magnetic particle specifications

Your Profile:

• Bachelor degree in biomedical sciences, biology or chemistry with demonstrated expertise in immunology, genomics or assay development
• Proven track record and minimum of 2 years experience as technical sales engineer
• Customer oriented combined with a high affinity towards sales
• Good experience in major methods and techniques in bio magnetic separation and automated systems (instruments) incl. sample preparation
• Experience in state-of-the-art lab techniques like qPCR, NGS, mass spectromentry, IVD read out systems
• Excellent oral, written, computer and presentation skills
• Self motivated, organized and able to work in interdisciplinary teams
• Fluently speaking English. Dutch and/or German would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel and a valid driver licence
