Sales Manager – In vitro diagnostics

Your Markets & Customers

• In-vitro diagnostic (IVD) companies
• IVD assay service providers
• IVD equipment/assay component manufacturers
• Clinical and service laboratories
• R & D customers in academia and top-research labs

Your Task:

• Drive assay projects and sales process of the business area IVD
• Manage these projects throughout their lifecycle
• Manage application and development support towards customers
• Have a thorough understanding of IVD markets incl. market drivers, trends, constraints
• Create competitive products and build credible selling arguments
• Identify new application areas and translate customer/market requirements into specifications
• Develop marketing material and participate in conferences, trade-fairs and seminars
• Propose and execute sales budgets of the business area IVD

Your Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree in biomedical sciences, biology or chemistry with demonstrated expertise in immunology, proteomics and affinity for method development
• Proven track record and minimum of 2 years experience in sales/application of IVD products
• Profound assay development project and product management experience
• Customer oriented combined with a high affinity towards sales
• Knowledge of IVD markets and related service/equipment industry
• Experience in major methods and techniques of IVD including, sample preparation, bio magnetic separation, PCR, chemiluminescence’s and automated systems
• Excellent oral, written, computer and presentation skills
• Self motivated, organized and able to work in interdisciplinary teams
• Fluently speaking English. German would be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and a valid driver licence.
